Don't look now

I'm watching you,
            watching me,
but I don't want you to see me,
                    so I have to look away.

But I still see you,
     in my minds eye,
  all the time,
         somedays I can't see anything else.

    I feel like this.
    Instead of looking away, I get quiet and still. I hide myself from even myself, so no one knows what they're looking at anymore.
    But some things I just can't hide from.
