The rules

learning to love the loneliness
that drips from my finger tips
and rolls down the lines that life drew in my sand box
because 34 years is enough to know better
how I'm tired
and salt is the taste of sweet sadness
who is my heart
right now
ready to break,
into nothing,
if you'l let me be.

  1. 'learning to love the loneliness that drips from my finger tips'... this is so beautiful I love how a sentiment becomes physical.

Happy Birthday Raajii, just went and read your time and again and your right it is very similar! maybe something in the stars and the eclipse for us fated Gemini geniuses. hope your feeling better, I wanted to say, that despite the pain, I still love the heartbreak and wouldn't trade it for the world.

  4. This brought tears to my eyes.
I know what it is to drown in solitude and wait for someone to dive down and rescue you. Does the diver ever come?
